Shawn has 36 years of experience in the amusement and leisure industry, including 30 years with ITPS. His extensive background encompasses feasibility analysis, financial forecasting, analytics, budgeting, valuations, business and operations audits, and operations planning.
Shawn’s career began at Kings Island, later Paramount’s Kings Island, where he worked in the games department. During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing arcades, Skeeball, visual displays, and games money rooms, gaining valuable hands-on experience in operations and guest engagement.

At ITPS, Shawn is instrumental in developing and coordinating plans and programs across retail operations, including food and beverage, merchandise, and games procedures, as well as establishing comprehensive systems for cash control, admissions, and employee training. His expertise extends to all phases of operations planning, with a specialization in conducting feasibility analyses and creating financial forecasts based on industry benchmarks.

In addition to his operational expertise, Shawn oversees all information technology functions for ITPS and its clients. As the ITPS network administrator, he manages the upkeep, modernization, and maintenance of the company’s computer systems. Shawn is also the driving force behind the ITPS Leisure News, curating and distributing this global news service to keep clients informed about the latest industry trends and developments which has been distributed for over 28 years.
